ISLAMABAD – Najam Sethi, the temporary chairman of the Management Committee for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday to discuss the impending Asia Cup Cricket Tournament.
Mr. Sethi informed PM Shehbaz on a number of PCB-aligned matters during the meeting in Islamabad.
The PCB’s initiatives to resurrect domestic cricket in the nation were also disclosed to the prime.
Mr. Sethi also covered the Pakistan cricket team’s involvement in international competitions.
Ishaq Dar, the minister of finance, and Ahsan Iqbal, the minister of planning, were also there.
